The Order of Social Workers of the Piedmont Region decided to participate to Children Digi- CORE project

The Order of Social Workers of Piedmont participate in this project because the promotion of rights, participation and empowerment of people are the pillars on which the action of professional social workers are based.

We believe that the creation of procedures that promote direct reporting by children and young people is a strategy that needs to be strengthened and implemented because it allow children to participate in the promotion and protection of their rights. In addition, it represents the start of a process of empowerment and greater awareness of their own condition and the will to change it.

Furthermore, the development of digital tools offers a great opportunity for public authorities to interact with children within a dimension that they feel close and more familiar.

With enthusiasm, therefore, professional social workers will share their skills and knowledge in order to contribute to the development of accessible and child-friendly reporting systems and services.
