The Order of Psychologists of Piedmont (OPP), Italy, supports the Children Digi-CORE project

The Order of Psychologists of Piedmont openly supports the Children Digi-CORE project and shares its goals:

• To raise awareness among children and adolescents about their rights, in order to achieve a better implementation of these rights.

• To contribute to the fight against individual and social disadvantage and discrimination by working for the empowerment of young people, especially those who are in a precarious situation.

• To reduce the gap between young people and the authorities and institutions responsible for their protection, in order to promote a better understanding of their roles, responsibilities, objectives and activities.

The OPP, which is part of the project’s advisory board, emphasises the importance of young people’s direct participation at every stage of the project.
