The project is coordinated by the University of Turin, bringing together 3 different Departments (Law, Psychology and Culture, Politics and Society), distinguished by their research excellence, international outreach and experience in EU projects. In addition to coordinating the project, UNITO will prepare the survey and the field visit to acquire a better understanding of the challenges and good practices, identify transferable interdisciplinary methods, coordinate training events in the Piedmont Region ((Italy) with the involvement of children as trainers and develop policy recommendations on the Digi-CORE tool.
Synesthesia, the technological partner, combines strong technological know-how with an innovative approach, namely the structural use of focus groups in design activity.
Association Agevolando promotes the first network of children raised in a host community or foster care (Care Leavers Network) and will therefore ensure the involvement of care leavers in each phase of the project.
Hope for Children, is an International Humanitarian and Independent Institution based in Nicosia, Cyprus. It has established and manages shelters for the accommodation and support of unaccompanied foreign children in Cyprus. Within the project it will coordinate the mainstreaming of the project results at EU level and will produce the policy recommendation for international stakeholders, thus ensuring the uptake of results at international level
Consiglio regionale del Piemonte is a legislative assembly with power in important matters such as social services and health. It includes, within it, an independent authority: the Ombudsman for Children of the Piedmont Region. CRP will ensure the promotion of the project results at political level.
